My Interests

Right now, two areas are occupying my interest.  They are lean development and software testing.  Expect to see a number of posts related to these topics in the near/mid future.

This weekend, I found 2 interesting documents on the web; one about each of these areas of interest.  The first is from Cem Kaner's web site titled "The Ongoing Revolution."  In this topic, Kaner revisits some of the ideas from his seminal testing book, "Testing Computer Software", in light of more recent developments in software development.  It's a good read.

The second document is a Fast Company article on Toyota's principle of continual improvement.  Examples are taken from Toyota's Georgetown, Kentucky factory.  The article is titled "No Satisfaction."  This article was pointed to by Mary Poppendieck on the leandevelopment Yahoo group.
