Cem Kaner's Blog
In the area of software testing, Cem Kaner is one of my heroes. He is one of the co-authors of one of the most widely read software testing books which is still among the best books on the topic even though Kaner himself admits that it's out of date. In all his teaching and writing that I've been exposed to, he consistently advocates for helping people and the testing profession. He rails against ideas that may make money for sponsoring entities and provide the veneer of legitimacy but not really move the profession forward.
In the past, I'd check out Kaner's weblog every once in a while (he doesn't post frequently and when he does, the posts are long ones). Based on the posts on his blog I hadn't read before it's been longer than I thought since I last visited. So I guess I'm making this post to encourage myself and others to keep an eye on what Kaner is saying. It's important.
